A few days ago Joe was standing in the shower shaving when he realize how much water was being wasted in the process ... a moment that prompted him to wonder about other patterns in his life.

Over the past couple days, Joe's had to confront a frightening reality that the last month had been essentially lost when it comes to productivity. Thankfully, he just interviewed Julie Morgenstern for an upcoming episode, so he's going to take her advice over the next few weeks, and figure out how to make the best use of his time ... hopefully his quest will benefit you as well.

As we've said before, at the Glocal Family, we're talking from a place of learning and seeking to discover how we can live a life that serves the greater good. In part this means dealing with our own clutter, managing our lives better, and figuring out how we can be green.

One of the ways we've decided to accomplish all of these things at once, is setting up a resource recovery station in our home. It's going to be a single location that we use for our trash, recycling, and a new edition, in-home composting. The journey is just beginning, but here's part 1.
